Established 1977
Multigrind Services Ltd was first established as a Limited company in 1977, specializing in precision Grinding – and quickly became a leading specialist in the field. Multigrind’s next step was not just to offer a subcontract grinding service but offer ‘The Complete Package’ by manufacture of parts and sub-assemblies complete to a wide range of customers in sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Motorsport (including Formula 1 ), Food/Scientific and Medical to name a few. Always looking for new investment opportunities, the plant now consists of over 30 machines in a purpose built 10,000 square ft factory in Hertfordshire on the outskirts on London.
Continuing with the roots of the company, the Grinding section consists of manual grinders along with our 3 CNC Grinders possessing both internal and external Grinding capabilities – machining tolerances down to 0.001mm.
Our CNC Turning department now has 2, 3, 4 and 5 axis capabilities, the CNC Milling department has various machining centres with 3 and 4 axis capabilities in addition to Renishaw probing and offline programming.
Now operating in the fourth decade of trading, our continual aim of offering ‘The Complete Package’ has influenced our decisions on the machine investments. With this in mind, we are fully setup for “lights out” production work where required – along with capabilities to manufacture small batch work and one-off prototypes. We pride ourselves that no job is too small or too large for us to undertake; each with the same level of commitment to excellence, price and delivery.
